About This Book
The Illinois Roofing Industry Licensing Act requires anyone performing roofing, waterproofing, or related repairs in Illinois to hold a valid license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Two license types are available:
- Limited License: Covers residential properties with 8 units or fewer.
- Unlimited License: Covers residential, commercial, and industrial properties of any size.
